At 21, I bought my first property and realised the financial world speaks a language that’s more confusing than it needs to be.

 

Armed with a Masters in Business & Finance, a Bachelor’s in Journalism, I dived into the mortgage-broking space fully licensed, with the mission to provide a unique service that cuts through the jargon and makes home-buying an exciting, straightforward experience - especially for young women and their other halves.

 

I get to know my clients’ immediate and long-term goals, manage all the boring paperwork, and guide them every step of the way - whether it’s their first home, a smart investment, or a dream upgrade.

    Whether you're just starting your first job, scouting your dream home without a penny to your name, or you’ve got your deposit ready, we’re here to help you at any stage of the journey.

     

    Maybe you need a pay rise, a new gig, or some time to build up those savings - whatever it is, we’ll guide you through the steps to take based on your goals - rags to riches style.

  • Great news.

    For you, nothing!

     

    We receive commission payments from the lender (the bank) in a few different ways, the most common is that the lender pays us an upfront commission after the loan settles, based on a percentage of the loan amount. We also receive an ongoing trail commission from the bank, for the life of the loan.

     

    E.g. We might look at your situation (needs, income, existing debts, living expenses, deposit etc) and we apply for a loan at X bank. The bank basically says “thanks for picking us, and handling on the paperwork, here’s some money for your efforts”.

     

    We also receive an ongoing fee paid by the lender, known as a trail commission. This is usually paid monthly for the duration of the loan, calculated as a small percentage of the loan balance.

     

    In summary, the commissions that we are paid by lenders are not payable by you. Hallelujah!

     

    This also means that our initial consult, and up to three additional meetings, phone calls or zooms – we won’t charge for.
